With the summer comes the time for hotels to choose which Consortia to affiliate with and to begin the journey that will lead them to the programme identified as best suited to their needs. 

The decision to join a Consortia takes into account the characteristics of the hotel (location, size, services, category, rate range) and the potential of the programme (previous years' production, prevailing market segment, prestige and number of affiliated agencies).

July: Prepare your profile and choose the right Consortia
July kicks off the programme affiliation process. The first step is to update and complete your hotel profile and collect information on past and potential Consortia performance. In order to choose the right programme, it is crucial to look at the selection criteria, the target clientele and in which destination they operate.


August and September: time for RFPs
The months of August and September are mainly dedicated to the negotiation of RFPs. The submission of individual RFPs is also done via the Lanyon platform - Cvent: the largest provider of RFP & Consortia Management.


October to December: It's time to deal with rates
Autumn is dedicated to the management of rates that must be uploaded without time limits or extended until the end of March of the following year. NetToHotel will assist you in creating, uploading and managing the Consortia-related rate plans that will then be mapped in the GDS.
